‘Existir: Programa 2’ main concert in Amposta

Mysteries and contrasts in a journey through musical textures

The 2nd of the iconic main concerts at the 10th DeltaChamber Music Festival will also be held at Museu de les Terres de l’Ebre, an institution dedicated to the research and conservation of natural and cultural heritage.

We’ll be immersed in a musical journey through deeply contrasting textures and moods, featuring notorious opera music, folk music, a mysteriously unfinished quartet, the virtuosity of flute and clarinet in a dizzying dance, and music with Klezmer influences. This concert is sure to captivate, created both at and for the festival during a week of intensive rehearsals, learning and collaboration, and will be recorded live by Catalunya Música.

After the concert, the excitement will continue with a delicious tapas dish prepared by chef Xavi Montañés from Terres de l’Ebre, inspired by our theme ‘Existir’, and paired by sommelier Llúcia Castaño with a glass of wine courtesy of the winery Les Vinyes del Convent.

Design of the space

‘VIDA LATENT’ (Latent Life) will be the backdrop for the concert. Latent life is a state of suspension, a state that is neither life nor death… the most fragile point of the fact of EXISTING which, as you know, is the theme of the 10th year of the festival.

‘VIDA LATENT’ will be an ephemeral installation, inert yet alive, created from a combination of fabrics, fibres, seeds and plants that will evolve towards life or death. An evolution that, far from being sad, seeks to remind us that every second of life, of existence, should be a celebration.

The installation is the work of architect Anna Fonollosa Caballer, co-founder and art director of The Imaginary Landscape Factory collective, whose entry was chosen at the Ephemeral Architecture Competition 2025 of DeltaChamber Music Festival in collaboration with the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya Demarcació de l’Ebre.
